To celebrate Islamic Heritage Month, Andrea Horwath and Ontario’s NDP MPPs will host our first Muslim Youth Leadership Day at Queen’s Park.
It will be a day of empowerment and civic education for young leaders. On Friday, October 6, 2017, the NDP will welcome self-identified Muslim youth currently enrolled in Grades 9 to 12 to spend the day, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., at the Ontario Legislature, Queen’s Park, 111 Wellesley Drive, Toronto.
Young leaders will have the opportunity to learn about the Ontario Legislative Assembly, speak with elected members and key players, and explore a day in the life of a provincial legislator.
